Who we are
This website is run by Good People Agency Limited, a company registered in England and Wales (company no. 11074151). Our registered office is 3 Sharrow Lane, Sheffield S11 8AE, United Kingdom. Our place of business is Unit 6 Buckingham Court, Rectory Lane, Loughton IG10 2QZ, United Kingdom. We are the controller of the personal data described here.

This policy covers visitors from the United Kingdom and the European Union. It follows the UK GDPR, the Data Protection Act 2018, the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR), the EU General Data Protection Regulation and the French rules on cookies.
What we collect
When you book an appointment
The store you buy for, its city, your email address, your preferred day and time and the brands you want to see.
When you send an enquiry
Whether you are a retailer, a brand or press, your name, your company, your email address and what you need.
When you email or call us
Your contact details and whatever you choose to tell us.
When you browse the site
Our host, Netlify, keeps short-lived server logs (including your IP address) to run and protect the site. If you accept analytics cookies, Google Analytics records the pages you view, roughly where you are (at city level), your device and browser, and the site that sent you here. Google Analytics does not store full IP addresses. If you decline, none of this analytics data is collected.
We do not ask for payment details, and we do not collect special category data.
Why we use it, and on what basis
- To arrange appointments and reply to enquiries. Our legitimate interest in running the agency and the showroom, and in answering people who contact us. Where you are asking to do business with us, it is also a step towards a contract.
- To understand how the site is used. Your consent, given through the cookie banner. You can withdraw it at any time.
- To keep the site secure. Our legitimate interest in protecting the site and its visitors.
We will not add you to a mailing list unless you ask us to. We do not sell your data, and we do not use it for advertising or profiling.
Who else sees it
- Netlify, Inc. hosts the site and receives form submissions, which it then forwards to us by email.
- Google (Google Ireland Limited and Google LLC) provides Google Analytics, and only if you accept analytics cookies.
- Our email provider holds the messages we send and receive.
- Professional advisers or authorities, where the law requires it.
The site's fonts are stored on our own server, so loading a page does not send your IP address to a font service.
Transfers outside the UK and EU
Netlify and Google are based in the United States. Where your data goes there, it is protected by the EU–US Data Privacy Framework and its UK Extension (if the provider is certified), or by the European Commission's standard contractual clauses together with the UK Addendum.
How long we keep it
- Appointment requests and enquiries: up to 24 months after our last contact with you, unless we go on to work together. Business records are kept for as long as UK tax and company law requires.
- Analytics data: 14 months, then deleted by Google.
- Server logs: for the short period Netlify needs to run the service.
- Your cookie choice: 6 months, then we ask again.
Your rights
You can ask us to give you a copy of your data, correct it, delete it, limit how we use it, or send it to you in a portable format. You can also object to how we use it, and withdraw consent at any time. Email hello@goodpeopleagency.co.uk and we will reply within one month.
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, you can complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk, to the CNIL in France at cnil.fr, or to the data protection authority where you live. We would be grateful for the chance to put it right first.
Cookies and browser storage
Analytics cookies are only set if you choose Accept. Until then, the Google Analytics script is not loaded at all. The site uses Google Consent Mode v2, with every Google consent signal set to denied by default. If you choose Decline, we store only that choice.

To change your choice, use , which also appears at the foot of every page. Declining after you have accepted removes the Google Analytics cookies. You can also clear cookies in your browser settings.
Links to Instagram, LinkedIn and Spotify take you to those services, which have their own privacy policies. We do not embed their content on this site.
